Job Summary
The Advanced Digital Solutions and Data Group is looking to add a Senior IT Solutions Architecture Advisor to its team. We are seeking a qualified professional with over 10 years of relevant experience. The selected candidate will be recognized for their technical expertise and interpersonal skills acting as a Consultant. The Advanced Digital Solutions and Data Group is currently carrying out several projects in the areas of intelligent mobility public transit systems electrification and energy management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide consulting support to internal and external clients
- Understand business objectives strategic priorities and operational challenges
- Translate ambiguous problems into clear prioritized requirements
- Assess the impacts of IT technology solutions (costs risks timelines benefits)
- Explain complex concepts in accessible language
- Produce clear deliverables including recommendations diagrams and roadmaps
- Develop solution and system architectures considering technological platforms
- Contribute to the specification of IT solutions to be acquired
- Certify and ensure the quality of solution projects
- Present produced deliverables to stakeholders
- Evaluate and analyze emerging technologies
- Support clients throughout system development and project work validating systems
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science or Information Technology Software Engineering Automated Production Engineering or other equivalent training
- Relevant and significant experience in solutions architecture
- Experience in consulting
- Strong general technical knowledge across multiple areas of expertise (IT infrastructure software development data engineering cybersecurity cloud computing) to maintain a comprehensive global perspective
- Bilingual (English/French spoken and written): bilingualism is an essential requirement for this position as it enables effective collaboration with our diverse stakeholders
- Membership in the OIQ as a Professional Engineer (asset)
