As the Regional Vendor Planning Manager youll lead a dynamic team that serves as the strategic link between our plants global suppliers and procurement teams. Your mission: ensure seamless supply resolve challenges before they arise and empower your team to deliver worldclass vendor planning performance.
What Youll Do:
1. Supply Planning Excellence
Become the central force behind smooth predictable production by:
- Standardizing planning parameters across your product portfolio
- Managing complex PhaseIn/PhaseOut transitions
- Running monthly RCCP analysis and driving proactive supplier action plans
- Leading weekly NPI and No Source component reviews
- Strengthening relationships with Garrett plants & key suppliers
- Analyzing inventory movement opportunities between factories
- Ensuring accurate demand integration and forecast communication
- Spotting risks early and escalating them before they impact operations
- Driving daily operations and ensuring global vendor planning targets are achieved
2. Supplier Crisis Leadership
Be the go-to leader when things get tough:
- Lead Regional Top Supplier Issue meetings
- Approve L0/L1 Red Alerts
- Coordinate daily Task Force efforts across suppliers plants supply base quality transportation & customer teams
- Conduct onsite supplier support during critical events
- Support COPQ recovery cases
- Forecast and report Premium Freight weekly
- Allocate team resources and set priorities during escalations
3. Supplier Development & Performance
Help suppliers level up through:
- Pastdue performance management (<10% target)
- Forecast accuracy improvement
- SIOP implementation with key vendors
- MRP parameter standardization
- Reducing Premium Freight by 5% YoY and minimizing obsolescence
- Achieving 100% ANS penetration
- Supporting mode-change projects (air sea) supplier protocols and scorecards
- Building strong trust-based supplier relationships
4. Team Leadership & Talent Development
Lead mentor and shape a high-performing team:
- Manage performance cycles (MRR PDS) development plans and corrective actions
- Drive capability building with tailored technical & behavioral development plans
- Foster talent retention and pipeline readiness
- Align global vendor planning processes across functions through MOS
- Promote best-practice standardization aligned with Garretts supply chain strategy
- Cascade goals monitor team performance and plan capacity & budget needs
5. HSE & Emergency Preparedness
Champion safety and compliancefor yourself and your team:
- Work safely and prevent environmental impact
- Use equipment responsibly and adhere to protective measures
- Report risks incidents and participate in HSE trainings
- Support emergency actions when needed
What We Need:
- Experience: minimum 8 years supply chain experience - supply planning production planning SIOP. Minimum 3 years team management experience.
- Education: University degree in engineering or economics
- Tools: MRP SAP (MM) or ERP systems
- Skills: Understands Sales Inventory & Operations Plan reports & analysis.
