Role Overview
The Supply Chain Manager holds responsibility for the development implementation and ongoing management of the Supply Chain Process as well as for driving continuous improvement in purchasing and related operations. Additionally this role collaborates closely with IMI LS Sector Strategic Procurement leadership to develop maintain and execute strategic supply chain initiatives. The position entails identifying outstanding local processes to support regional and global standardization efforts. The Supply Chain Manager is also responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy readiness and effective inventory turnover and level management.

Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Supplier Management

  • Manage and direct site buyers to meet production demands.
  • Maintain and report supplier KPIs (On-Time Delivery Parts Per Million Purchase Price Variance).
  • Ensure site-specific data reports and automation for supplier monitoring are implemented and standardized.
  • Drive procurement project opportunities (cost savings process improvements value engineering low-cost sourcing supplier risk management).
  • Maintain Supplier Improvement Program and Supplier Performance Manual.
  • KPIs: Supplier OTD % PPM PPV cost savings achieved supplier development milestones.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Oversee inventory planning and management to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Develop and implement a cycle counting program for inventory accuracy.
  • Manage daily shipping and receiving operations for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • KPIs: Inventory accuracy % cycle count compliance shipping/receiving turnaround time warehouse safety compliance.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Lead strategic and continual improvement projects to develop best practices.
  • Improve supplier development product qualification and purchasing processes.
  • Maintain document storage and record retention systems per ISO requirements.
  • KPIs: Process improvement project completion rate ISO compliance audit scores.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead train and mentor staff to create a productive and collaborative work environment.
  • Support procurement function goals and organizational initiatives.
  • KPIs: Team performance metrics training completion rates employee engagement scores.

Other Duties

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives.

Critical Competencies for Success

  • Bachelors Degree Engineering Supply Chain/Logistics or Business
  • Experience leading people and creating a high-performance high-accountability culture
  • Significant experience with strategic sourcing processes and category management
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Able to establish relationships and trust within the organization and the supply base. Able communicate effectively and succinctly on the needs of the business the plan to achieve those needs and the status of those plans

Pay Range: $125000 - $145000

Within this range individual pay is determined based on skills experience and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws if applicable.
