Job Title Material Purchasing Manager
We are looking for a highly talented Material Purchasing Manager to join our unique team of Applied materials Israel Material Purchasing Group
Whats in it for you

Our Group:
Our group is responsible for executing Applied Materials purchasing strategy with selected suppliers by owning Suppliers operational activities responsibilities: assure deliveries execution resolve supply chain issues identify and resolve potential risks prepare for demands or supply changes work closely with internal and external stakeholders to continuously innovate achieve better outcomes and add value.
Our group consists of experienced and highly motivated purchasing experts coming from different backgrounds acting together to deliver an optimal outcome for the business.
Who are we
Applied Materials Israel is home to the Process Diagnostics and Control business unit (PDC). Based in Rehovot we develop manufacture and market cutting-edge machine learning and computer vision-based metrology and inspection products that are essential elements in wafer fabrication. By playing a significant role in enabling the production of the next generation of microchips our expertise enables our customers to transform possibilities into reality.
What will youbedoing:
Manage a Group of Purchasing experts daily activities.
Navigate Material Purchasing group for excellence as part of groups staff.
Manage escalations with Applied Materials Israel worldwide suppliers to meet material demands.
Set and measure Material group related KPIs.
Manage Suppliers quality performance work closely with suppliers management and Applied Materials internal groups to assure targets are met.
Own suppliers operational execution manage priorities with suppliers and internal groups (material planning manufacturing R&D and engineering departments) to assure tools build plan execution.
What should you have
Team player with great inter-personal skills
Proven managerial skills in a highly dynamic multi-disciplinary environment preferably experience with large corporate.
Excellent understanding of Purchasing business processes and the ability to build and lead continuous improvement.
Great leadership skills; experienced in building teams from scratch training and motivating team members.
Ability to work under constant pressure and solve complex problems while aligning with multiple groups and processing large amount of data
Solid technical understanding good ability to learn complex systems and manufacturing processes.
Proven capabilities to present and manage commercial relationships with high level executives.
Bachelors degree (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is an advantage)
10 - 15 years experience in similar position.
Strong commercial orientations communication & negotiation skills.
Fluent in English oral and written.
