Job Summary:
The company is looking to recruit an ambitious and energetic Assistant ManagerProcurement (O&M) and central coordination Asset Management who will help candi to lead therevolution of solar. Given that candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools the role willrequire creativity innovation and a new way of thinking.
Specifically the job requires taking ownership of the following for the Indian AM team: Identify procurement requirements based on project operational and business needs
Source vendors and suppliers through RFQs RFPs and negotiations
Evaluate vendor quotations based on cost quality delivery timelines and commercial terms
Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure approval as per company policies
Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as engineering finance project and operations teams
Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials/services
Ensure compliance with procurement policies contracts and statutory requirements Maintain supplier database purchase records and MIS reports
Support vendor development and performance evaluation
Coordinate for necessary payments with Finance team against the vendor invoices received
Assist in cost optimization value engineering and budget control initiatives
Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays quality concerns and billing discrepancies

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering / Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management
MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain / Operations is a plus
25 years of experience in procurement sourcing or supply chain roles
Experience in infrastructure manufacturing EPC renewable energy or industrial sectors is an
advantage
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Good understanding of procurement processes and commercial terms
Ability to analyze costs and prepare comparative statements
Strong coordination and communication skills
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar) preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel Word and PowerPoint
High attention to detail and compliance orientation
