The team you will join:

Sitting in the Purchasing department our team dedicated topurchasingbears a lot of responsibility in the current market situation. Divided into 3 teams (direct indirect and projects) they all work together to source and provide L-Acoustics with the best quality resources at the lowest price within the most reasonabletime framepossible.

We are looking for a brightProjectPurchasingSpecialistto join theprojectpurchasingteam.

What you will contribute to:

Reporting to the HeadofProject Purchasing the Project PurchasingSpecialistwillbe responsible foranticipatinginnovations likely to meet R&D needs and for steering and coordinating purchases relating to various new projects in particular:

Contributing to the identification and preliminary assessment ofnew technologiesrelevant to ongoing projects.

Assistingin draftingspecificationsalongsideprojectteams(R&Dindustrializationquality).

Helpingbuildandmaintaina panel ofpotentialsuppliersalignedwithcommoditystrategies.

Supportingsupplieronboardingtoensurequalitycost and leadtime expectations are met.

Facilitatingcommunication and information exchangebetweeninternalteamsandsuppliers.

Participatinginprojectmilestonereviewsrelatedto supplier performance (costquality deadlines).

Assistingwithbasiccontractualand administrative aspects to helpsafeguardthecompanysintellectualproperty.

What you will need to succeed:

AMasters degree in engineeringor a related technical field (knowledge of electronics plastics or mechanical processes is a plus).

Minimum3years of experience as aprojectpurchasingexpert or a combination of project management in an industrial setting (methods industrialization) and a purchasing function

Excellent sense of humilitysimplicityand partnership: our vision for our suppliers is long term it is essential to build good relationships with them

A business level Englishproficiency. Othereuropeanlanguages are a plus(French German)

Ability to forge internal links with R&D teamwork skills (quality supplychain production constraints) project leadershipskills

Rigorfamiliar with financial aspects of project management
