Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team at Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel in Makati City. As an agency-hired AC Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the air conditioning systems in our hotel ensuring that they are functioning at optimal levels for the comfort of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of all air conditioning units in the hotel including guest rooms common areas and back-of-house areas

- Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues with the air conditioning systems and make necessary repairs

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters changing belts and lubricating parts

- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed on the air conditioning systems

- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize disruption to guests

- Monitor energy usage and recommend ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in air conditioning technology

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when working with electrical and refrigeration systems

- Assist with other maintenance tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in HVAC systems preferred

- Minimum of 2 years experience as an AC Technician preferably in a hotel or similar environment

- Knowledge of various air conditioning systems and their components

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Basic understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays.
