Our client is seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse for the following opportunity.
This role is designed for a dynamic Emergency Room RN who is a quick thinker strong decision-maker and effective multitasker with the ability to adapt to changing this role you will provide nursing care to patients ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill conditions while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams.
The Emergency Room RN will triage assess and treat patients of all ages. The RN will identify expected outcomes and develop individualized plans of care based on the patient and situation. The RN will develop and implement strategies and alternatives to achieve expected outcomes. The RN will manage multiple patient cases simultaneously while continuously prioritizing care needs. The RN will provide follow-up care instructions and coordinate appropriate referrals. The RN will coordinate care with physicians and other departments while maintaining a patient-focused and safety-aware approach at all times.
Schedule:
Night shift with rotating weekends.
Day shifts are now available for this role.
Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $30.60 to $38.25 based on experience.
Hourly pay may reach up to $45.90 for candidates with 17 or more years of experience.
Night shift differential is $4.25 per hour.
Weekend differential is $3.00 per hour for qualifying hours worked.
A $15000 sign-on bonus is offered for night shift positions.
Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience within the last 2 to 3 years
- Recent Emergency Department Intensive Care Unit or Progressive Care Unit RN experience required
- Paramedic experience in background is a plus
License:
- Active Florida Registered Nurse license or approved multistate RN compact license required
- Compact license holders must obtain Florida RN licensure within 60 days of relocation
Certifications and Timelines:
- Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course or TNCC Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
