Location: Syracuse NY
Contract Duration: 15 Weeks

Compensation

Travel Rate: $2621.50/week
Local Rate: $2242.50/week

Schedule

Night Shift
7:00 PM 7:30 AM (12.5-hour shifts)
3 shifts per week (37.5 hours)
Every other weekend required
Some holidays required

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department within a large acute care hospital. The RN will assess treat and monitor patients while working collaboratively with physicians and the care team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
Maintain patient safety and follow established clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

Active RN License New York State
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
Acute care hospital experience
BLS Certification
Strong clinical judgment and emergency care assessment skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers
EPIC EMR experience
Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
