Job Summary
Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ED RN) Night Shift
Location: Machias ME
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts (Schedule May Vary)

Compensation
Travel Pay: Up to $2268/week (Based on Experience)
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per week (All-Inclusive Rate $5)
Holiday Rate: All-Inclusive Rate $5
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Machias ME is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering safe effective and patient-centered care while responding rapidly to emergency and critical situations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to critical or emergency situations.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the Cerner EMR system.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Follow all patient safety infection control and hospital policies.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Support the mission vision and values of the healthcare organization.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (State License Required)
Experience in Emergency Room or acute care nursing preferred
Strong clinical assessment communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced emergency environment
Ability to respond quickly and effectively during emergency situations
