Full time Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm. Flexibility is required to meet studio and shoot requirements.

Overview
We are recruiting a Studio Assistant to support a busy photography studio specialising in homewares photography. This is a long term temporary role ideal for someone at a junior level who is keen to gain practical experience within a professional studio environment. There is potential for the role to lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Support photographers stylists and studio managers during daily shoots
Assist with setting up maintaining and clearing photography sets
Ensure products props and sets are prepared and shoot ready
Liaise with warehouse teams regarding stock movement and deliveries
Assist stylists and set builders with basic set preparation and construction
Handle homewares products carefully including unpacking and repacking
Maintain studio cleanliness organisation and health and safety standards
Support studio resets between shoots

Skills and Attributes

Interest in photography styling or studio based work
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Reliable punctual and willing to learn
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks

Experience

Previous studio warehouse or creative experience is helpful but not essential
Full training will be provided
