Role Overview

This role is intended to strengthen the Engineering and Project team with a primary focus on the centralized management and evolution of Windows-based physical endpoints. The position is clearly positioned within an engineering and configuration management scope and does not include Help Desk or Field Support activities.

The professional will be responsible for defining managing and evolving workstation configurations policies and software deployment frameworks while ensuring alignment with security operational and usability standards across the desktop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Centralized management of Windows configurations policies and user/computer profiles

• Continuous monitoring of emerging technologies and market trends identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the workstation environment

• Preparation and execution of remote software installation tasks across the PC fleet

• Certification and validation of desktop software prior to deployment

• Provision of third-level support for complex Windows configuration issues including coordination with vendors and technology partners when required

Candidate Profile

• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within technical teams

• High level of responsibility resilience and initiative

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

• Availability and flexibility to support project-driven activities

• Curiosity and a continuous self-learning mindset

Technical Knowledge & Experience

• Proven experience in desktop management and configuration activities

• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 browser configurations (Edge Chrome) and Microsoft Office applications

• Solid experience with Microsoft 365 from a device management and configuration perspective

• Hands-on experience managing Active Directory OUs and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for users and computers

• Practical experience with Microsoft Intune

Valued additional skills include:

• Knowledge of macOS environments

• Familiarity with Android and Apple mobile device configurations

• Basic networking knowledge

• Security awareness related to workstation Windows and browser configurations
