Job Summary

Build cutting-edge mobile plant from the ground up in a modern purpose-built workshop.

Job Connect is recruiting Mechanical Assemblersboth trade-qualified and non-tradefor a manufacturer producing the latest generation of hydraulic mobile equipment in Pinkenba.

This role suits people who enjoy hands-on mechanical work and want to move beyond repairs into new-build assembly working in a clean safety-driven environment with the right tools and systems in place.

Trades not essential. If youve worked on vehicles plant machinery caravans marine fit-outs or similar mechanical builds we want to hear from you.

What youll get in return

Strong starting pay at $39 per hour with consistent overtime available
Early starts (6:00am) and guaranteed 38 hours per week
Extra earning potential with weekday OT optional Saturdays and paid 30 minutes for overtime worked

What youll be doing

Assembling mechanical and hydraulic components into new mobile plant units
Working from drawings procedures and quality standards
Using mechanical aids and proper tooling to complete builds safely
Collaborating with experienced tradespeople and assemblers in a team-based environment

What were looking for

Mechanical assembly experience or background in vehicle plant or machinery maintenance
Trades qualification welcomed but not required
Full Australian working rights or long-term visa (short-term visas and overseas applicants cannot be considered)
Reliable transport site is not well serviced by public transport
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
