Reporting to: Andrew Whitson - R&D Manager - Packaging Location: Cooranbong Pilot Plant Status: Permanent Full-Time The OpportunityAre you passionate about food innovation handson technical work and leading highperforming teams We are seeking expressions of interest for the role of Pilot Plant Team Leader within our Development & Innovation team. This role plays a critical part in bringing new product ideas to life and supporting the ongoing development of some of Australias most trusted food brands. As the Pilot Plant Team Leader you will provide daytoday leadership across our Pilot Plant operations ensuring safe reliable and efficient operation of the facility while supporting R&D trial activity and maintaining our strong safety culture. The role also includes handson operation of pilot plant equipment as a core responsibility. About the RoleYou will lead a team of Pilot Plant Operators planning and coordinating pilot trials managing equipment and labour schedules and ensuring that all work is completed safely and to a high technical standard. Responsibilities include:Creating a positive and productive team environmentLeading safety WHS compliance and incident managementCoordinating pilot plant startups operations and shutdownsTroubleshooting operational issues and supporting R&D teamsCoaching technical competency and maintaining training recordsManaging raw materials stocktakes and housekeepingSupporting contractor management when requiredWhat Were Looking ForWere seeking someone with:Demonstrated ability to lead and engage operational teamsExperience in a food manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of WHS and HACCP principlesMechanical aptitude and willingness to work handson in the plantStrong communication organisation and problemsolving skillsA positive cando attitude with a focus on continuous improvementIf you would like more details about this opportunity please contact Andrew Whitson via or Aleni Togafau via
