Synergie is currently recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for our clients new automotive distribution facility in Altona.

The important part:

Temp to Perm opprtunity
$80k base salary (negotiable)
Day Shift

What you will be required to do:

Supervision of employees ensuring compliance with business processes and expectations throughout day to day and expansion
Manage labour to ensure it meets both client and business requirements
Manage daily warehouse operations in your area including receiving putaways order picking cycle counts and despatch to ensure smooth workflow meets client requirements
Manage any related client queries ensuring all requirements are met
Collaborate with management to ensure staff are informed of their expectations
Supervise and where possible streamline or enhance the administration of warehouse operations

To be successful in the role you will:

Previous warehousing and logistics experience essential (3 year minimum)
Leadership/supervisory experience within warehouse environment
Attention to detail and overall compliance in relation to warehouse workflow and operations
Experience working with external stakeholders providing a high level of service and issue resolution
Exposure to using warehouse management systems (preferred)
Excellent communication skills in order to mentor and lead an expanding team
Hands-on warehouse experience with a strong focus on team and process improvement and management
