Job Summary

Were seeking an experienced hands-on hospitality professional to oversee banquet operations from setup to service and breakdown. Youll supervise and support the team maintain service excellence and collaborate closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure flawless execution of large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day banquet operations across conferences weddings and private events.
  • Lead train and motivate banquet staff to deliver exceptional consistent service.
  • Assist with rostering recruitment and payroll to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and events teams to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation cleanliness and guest experience.
  • Manage guest feedback professionally ensuring brand standards are upheld.
  • Assist with inventory stock control and equipment setup for events.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in banquets events or high-volume hospitality.
  • Hands-on service-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
  • Experience with POS systems (Infrasys/Shiji highly regarded).
  • Flexible to work rotating roster including nights weekends and public holidays.
  • Full unrestricted working rights in Australia.
