Warehouse Operator

We have an opening for a Warehouse Operator in our distributor business SA Color in Edwardstown. To be successful in this role you will need to be safety conscious customer service driven. Working in a small team with the ability to work with others in other departments.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Pick and pack sales orders and arrange the daily outbound shipments;

• Load and unload of goods.

• Receive inbound shipments from different vendors unpack and distribute stock onto storage shelves

• Ensure stock in the warehouse is arranged according to the Standard Operating Procedures;

• Regularly re-sort and check goods for expiry date. Report any stock discrepancy and needs for adjustment;

• Perform cycle counts and stock take when required;

• Clean and tidy warehouse daily. Ensure warehouse is compliance with Work Health & Safety policies;

To be successful in this role you will need:

Minimum of 2 years experience in warehousing.

Forklift licence with minimum of 2 years experience.

Team orientated

Strong numerical and literacy skills

High attention to detail

Able to understand work instructions and procedures

Aware of Workplace Health and Safety requirements

Experience in the movement of hazardous materials is highly desirable

Experience in SAP would be advantages
