Job Summary

Job Description

CSCI is seeking a detail-oriented security-focused contractor to support the Service Desk team with a comprehensive Account Management Audit. This role is responsible for reviewing and validating user access across multiple applications confirming current employment status and identifying potential segregation of duties (SoD) risks to ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a full audit of user accounts across assigned applications
  • Cross-reference active user accounts with the INPRS HR Audit to verify current employment status
  • Identify and document inactive or orphaned accounts for deactivation
  • Utilize the Segregation of Duties (SoD) Matrix to assess role assignments and flag any conflicts or policy violations
  • Maintain detailed records of audit findings and remediation actions
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Service Desk Manager and IT Security team

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in IT service desk operations identity and access management (IAM) or IT auditing.
  • Familiarity with user provisioning/deprovisioning processes.
  • Understanding of segregation of duties principles and access control best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel or similar tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence

  • Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
  • Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
