As a Field Engineering Manager for the Nordics Geo territory you will lead a diverse team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects and Engineers across the region. Youll play a key leadership role at the intersection of technology and businessguiding your team to design impactful solutions and drive growth through collaboration and innovation.

Youll empower your team to communicate complex ideas with clarity support strategic customer engagements and build lasting partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Lead mentor and support a high-performing inclusive pre-sales team across the Nordics.

• Work closely with Sales and other teams to identify opportunities and deliver data-driven value-focused solutions.
• Establish best practices that improve team efficiency collaboration and business impact.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and partners acting as a strategic advisor in their digital transformation journey.
• Partner with Marketing Sales Services and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Represent Databricks as part of the regional leadership team contributing to our local presence and inclusive culture.

• Proven experience leading or managing technical teams in Big Data Cloud or SaaS environmentsor equivalent experience gained through hands-on engineering or consulting work.
• A track record of coaching and developing diverse high-performing teams.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with Sales Marketing and other cross-functional leaders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional proficiency in English (knowledge of any Nordic language is a plus but not a hard requirement).
• Technical background in Data Engineering Databases or Data Science (consulting or customer-facing experience preferred).
• Enthusiasm for data AI and cloud technologies and the ability to connect these to real business outcomes.
