We are seeking a motivated creative and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Maidenhead starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a key stage where children develop independence resilience and critical skills in literacy numeracy and the wider curriculum.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 3 class planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and support all pupils. You will have the chance to nurture curiosity foster confidence and create a love of learning that children will carry throughout their education. Role Responsibilities
Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning and differentiation
Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs including SEND and EAL learners
Maintain a safe inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Promote positive behaviour independence and social development
Collaborate with teaching assistants colleagues and school leadership to maintain consistency and high expectations
Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress achievements and next steps
Participate in staff meetings CPD sessions and school-wide initiatives
Support pupils in building confidence resilience and a love of learning
This role provides the opportunity to make a lasting impact on childrens learning and personal development during a formative stage of Key Stage 2.
Who Were Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 preferably Year 3
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in literacy numeracy and the wider curriculum
Be confident in differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be creative reflective and committed to professional development
Show dedication to safeguarding inclusion and promoting pupil wellbeing
