Year 3 Teacher – Maidenhead, Berkshire

We are seeking a motivated creative and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Maidenhead starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a key stage where children develop independence resilience and critical skills in literacy numeracy and the wider curriculum.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 3 class planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and support all pupils. You will have the chance to nurture curiosity foster confidence and create a love of learning that children will carry throughout their education. Role Responsibilities

• Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum

• Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning and differentiation

• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs including SEND and EAL learners

• Maintain a safe inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

• Promote positive behaviour independence and social development

• Collaborate with teaching assistants colleagues and school leadership to maintain consistency and high expectations

• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress achievements and next steps

• Participate in staff meetings CPD sessions and school-wide initiatives

• Support pupils in building confidence resilience and a love of learning

This role provides the opportunity to make a lasting impact on childrens learning and personal development during a formative stage of Key Stage 2.

Who Were Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 preferably Year 3

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in literacy numeracy and the wider curriculum

• Be confident in differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners

• Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• Be creative reflective and committed to professional development

• Show dedication to safeguarding inclusion and promoting pupil wellbeing
