We are working with a primary school in Haringey recruiting for a reliable School Caretaker to manage their site. This is a permanent full-time role for an individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming learning environment for young children.
The Role You will be responsible for the security maintenance and general upkeep of the school buildings and grounds. The role involves a split-shift pattern (typically 7:00 AM 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM 6:30 PM) to ensure the site is ready for the school day. Key responsibilities include:
Opening and securing the school site daily and acting as the primary key holder
Performing minor repairs including basic plumbing carpentry and painting
Coordinating with external contractors for specialist maintenance work
Monitoring health and safety compliance including fire alarm and water testing
Overseeing the cleaning team and managing site-related stock and equipment

What the School Is Looking For
