Job Summary
Job Title: CT Technologist (Contract)
Location: New York NY (10003)
Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Shift: Night Shift 58 Hours (12:00 AM 8:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $63 $75 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a short-term night assignment at a major healthcare facility in New York City. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CT imaging comfortable working overnight shifts and experienced with advanced imaging systems in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
Prepare and position patients for scans ensuring comfort and safety
Operate CT imaging equipment accurately and efficiently
Administer IV contrast following certification and facility guidelines
Verify patient identity exam orders and imaging parameters prior to scanning
Review images for diagnostic quality and completeness
Document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record
Maintain equipment cleanliness safety and readiness
Communicate effectively with radiologists nurses and physicians
Required Skills & Experience
IV Certification (mandatory)
Strong experience performing CT imaging procedures
Prior experience operating Siemens CT equipment preferred
Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Certifications & Licensure (Required)
ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist R.T.(R)
ARRT Registered Technologist in CT R.T.(CT)
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (DOH NYS)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
IV Certification
Additional Details
X-ray and CT credentials must be active and in hand at time of submission
Night shift role with consistent weekday scheduling
