About The Role - Actuarial Development Program

The Actuarial Development Program (ADP) is designed to promote the education and training of employees pursuing actuarial examinations in the knowledge and professional skills relating to actuarial practices. The Program is intended to provide support and encouragement to actuarial students in their pursuit of professional designations and support for continued good standing in generally recognized actuarial professional organizations approved by the Company for those employees with professional designations.

Must be living in Jersey City NJ. Houston Texas or Los Angeles or willing to re-locate to one of those areas and is subject to our hybrid working policy which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct policyholder behavior analysis to identify trends assess key risk drivers and provide insights for product design
  • Enhance experience study procedures and strengthen data quality controls
  • Participate in annual experience study and contribute to assumption development
  • Maintain and continuously improve data processes to ensure compliance with best practices documentation requirements and internal control standards
  • Support strategic actuarial initiatives including reinsurance analysis capital optimization and actuarial modernization

Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
  • 2 plus years of actuarial experience
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and capacity to navigate through complex projects
  • Excellent communication documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Database knowledge Programming language (Python or R) and Visualization Tool (Power BI Tableau etc.) Experience is preferred but not required
  • Actuarial modeling (AXIS AON RAFM etc.) experience is a plus
  • The role is critical due to actuarial assumptions driving material financial impact. This position provides essential support for experience study actuarial assumption setting and other finance actuarial operations.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100000 - $140000 to at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors which may include the candidates geographic location skills experience and other qualifications.

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financials Jersey City NJ. Houston Texas or Los Angeles office and is subject to our hybrid working policy which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
