Job Summary

Preschool Camp Supervisor 2026:
The Preschool Camp Supervisor oversees a summer camp program serving 4550 preschool-aged children (ages 45) and leads a team of 8 counselors. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe nurturing and engaging camp environment through thoughtful supervision clear communication and intentional planning.

Key responsibilities include daily communication with families supervising childrens safety and care organizing and delegating weekly themed activities and overseeing immersive developmentally appropriate experiences. The Supervisor also supervises two offsite field trips and supports staff through guidance organization and leadership.

This role requires regular use of technology to take photos document activities and communicate with families. The position may include lifting during camp set-up clean-up or while supervising children; candidates must be able to lift and carry 3040 pounds.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic reliable responsible and passionate about supporting young childrens growth through play exploration and positive relationships.

The camp is located at the Alcott Center.

Qualifications:
The Preschool Camp Supervisor position is open to all qualified applicants 21 years of age (as of June 1 2026) and up. Prior experience working in a camp setting or with preschool-aged children is required.

Hours:
Preschool Camp Supervisor hours are from 8:30am-2:00pm on Monday-Friday. The camp runs from June 8 to July 31 2026. In addition Preschool Day Camp training is mandatory and will begin on June 1 2026. No absences are granted for this 8-week program.

Salary
Starts at $18/hr depending on experience
