MADEC is looking for a motivated and skilled Nurse or Allied Health professional to lead inspire and elevate the next generation of frontline workers across our Disability and Youth Services.

Salary: $110K PBI Salary Packaging 5 weeks annual leave

Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time options available (flexibility to consider casual arrangements)

Whats This Role All About

Were seeking a motivated Nurse or Allied Health professional to play a key role in strengthening workforce capability and client wellbeing across our services.

This role blends clinical leadership training delivery coaching and wellbeing oversight. Youll work closely with frontline staff and health professionals to ensure clients receive safe high-quality and person-centred supports while staff feel confident capable and supported in their practice.

About the Role:

In this role you will:

Coordinate and deliver hands-on training in clinical skills medication administration manual handling and crisis response.
Observe frontline practice in real-world settings providing coaching mentoring and constructive feedback to improve skills confidence and consistency.
Deliver formal training sessions and workshops tailored to workforce and service needs.
Support the monitoring of client wellbeing identifying emerging health or support needs.
Work collaboratively with health professionals (e.g. GPs specialists allied health) to develop implement and review clinical and health management plans (e.g. Diabetes management Epilepsy and seizure management Wound care etc)
Guide staff through induction competency assessments and ongoing skill sign-offs.
Identify gaps in staff knowledge or practice and tailor training and coaching responses accordingly.
Ensure all training coaching and clinical oversight aligns with NDIS Practice Standards HSQF requirements and contemporary best practice.

Who Were Looking For:

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain).
Tertiary qualifications in nursing (minimum Diploma of Nursing Current AHPRA registration) or Allied Health (minimum degree OT/Speech Therapy/Social Worker/equivalent qualification).
Experience delivering training and mentoring staff in Youth & Disability services.
Strong knowledge of clinical skills medication administration and manual handling.
Excellent communication skillsyou can break down complex topics and make learning engaging.
Queensland Drivers License Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Screening and LCS2 Clearance.
