The Field Administrator supports activities for the Field Services team. Acts as the field point of contact for questions or concerns. Daily assignments may include ordering materials requesting and tracking permits collecting data coordinating field needs and managing various administrative responsibilities. Ensures communication flows smoothly between field personnel contractors and leadership while maintaining accurate records and supporting operational efficiency.
This is a Seasonal Opportunity lasting 6 months in Baltimore MD.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect accurate and complete data for permits easements and rightâofâways ensuring records are wellâorganized thoroughly documented and submitted in a timely manner to support project needs.
- Serve as the primary field point of contact by communicating professionally with clients property owners contractors developers and internal personnel helping resolve questions and supporting daily coordination.
- Navigate field environments including remote or difficultâtoâaccess terrain while working closely with multiple company divisions to ensure consistent workflow accurate information sharing and operational alignment.
- Prepare clear detailed and timely correspondence and reports including daily progress updates to the Chief Inspector weekly meeting minutes and contractor work logs that support project tracking and accountability.
- Assist with project documentation and progress monitoring by maintaining charts updating drawings collecting jobârelated materials verifying pressure charts and required forms and organizing job book materials for final client turnover.
Minimum Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in gas utilities preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and routine office equipment.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid drivers license.
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Strong understanding of gas utility practices standards and field operations.
- Ability to interpret and understand field notes schematics maps alignment sheets and construction drawings.
- Strong critical thinking attention to detail and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
