We have a unique opportunity to support the mahi in our Biodiversity National Programmes Unit and contribute to programme delivery targeting threats to conservation. The Biodiversity National Programmes Unit is responsible for delivering conservation work on the ground through specific programmes of work.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Wild Animals Programme Advisor to oversee and project manage the Wild Animals Management (WAM) Programme with a strong focus on running and coordinating systems and processes and supporting the programmes continuous this key role you will ensure the successful implementation of this initiative while providing expert guidance and support on Wild Animals Management issues as required.

This is a full-time fixed term role until the end of December 2026 with a flexible location. This is primarily an office-based role with limited opportunities to spend time out in the field.

The salary range for this position is $92912 to $117570 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
