The Opportunity:
Factorial Energy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Billerica MAlocation.
This person will be responsible for Solstice Cell and Component Mechanical Design.
In this role you will:
Execute the assigned DOEs related to Mechanical design to meet KPI target
Solstice clamping fixture designSOP & alignment with Customers
Quality check of Clamping fixture for re-using
Problem solving related to Mechanical design
Support Clamping process operation
Support Thickness uniformity test and Pressure distribution test
Mechanical design(Cell & Component) improvement and drawing update
Shipping package design and risk assessment
We are looking for people who:
Required:
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
1 3 years of experience in a mechanical design role to issue Drawings in a productdevelopment.
Skills and Experience with a 3D modeling software such as Solidworks CATIA Creoetc.
Factorial Confidential: Company Skills and Experience utilizing machining equipment such as a vertical endmill bandsaw lathe welding 3D printer etc.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred:
Experience working with Aluminum machining HW welding techniques and injectionmolding.
Experience utilizing measuring equipment such as loadcell LVDT and Tekscan or otherpressure related.
1-3 years of experience working on lithium-based battery technology
