The Senior Team Leader Project Planning Monitoring and Reporting plays a pivotal leadership role within the Biodiversity Conservation Program supporting DCCEEWs mission to protect and enhance NSWs natural environment.
This role leads a specialist team responsible for developing and implementing robust frameworks for project planning monitoring evaluation and reporting. A key focus is driving datainformed decisionmaking ensuring biodiversity projects are designed delivered and assessed using consistent evidencebased approaches that demonstrate ecological outcomes.
You will guide delivery teams in developing accurate costed annual project plans aligned with strategic program priorities while also strengthening program governance accountability and performance across large and complex conservation initiatives. The role is central to producing highquality reports evaluations and ministerial briefings that communicate outcomes clearly and build trust with Government and community stakeholders.
The position requires strong leadership capability the ability to manage competing priorities across geographically dispersed teams and a talent for building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will foster continuous improvement support staff capability and ensure monitoring frameworks meet the diverse ecological and logistical needs of projects across NSW.

About You
We are looking for a confident and collaborative leader with strong experience in project planning monitoring and evaluation to guide a highperforming team within the Biodiversity Conservation Program. You will bring a strategic mindset excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex ecological and project data into meaningful insights that drive evidencebased decisionmaking.

You will excel at developing frameworks solving complex problems and supporting project teams to deliver credible impactful conservation outcomes.
