Working closely with internal teams faculties and external suppliers you will ensure high-quality compliant and engaging events that support the objectives of the Founders Program. About the successful applicant
You have events management qualifications and/or at least 18 months events management experience along with a current Class C motor vehicle drivers licence. The role requires a strong understanding of events and related functions with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse client groups at all levels while exercising discretion cultural sensitivity and a high awareness of protocol requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills strong attention to detail and sound stakeholder management capabilities are essential as is experience using a range of computer systems and applications including Airtable Eventbrite Excel and the Adobe suite. Youll also have excellent time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities multiple tasks and competing deadlines using sound judgement and initiative. Project experience including an understanding of the project life cycle and the development of project plans and documentation is also required.
The role calls for someone who can work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative and working independently. An understanding of and commitment to UNSWs aims objectives and values relevant policies and guidelines together with a strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities and a commitment to ongoing training is essential.
