Job Description

The College of Professional Education (CPE) at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for non-tenure track full-time teaching faculty positions in management leadership analytics and organizational effectiveness. The rank of the appointment will depend on experience and qualifications. CPE leads Stevens portfolio of professional and corporate education providing industry-aligned programs that integrate technology management and applied practice for graduate and professional learners.

Teaching responsibilities will occur primarily in
fully online graduate and professional programs offered through Stevens Online within the College of Professional Education (CPE).

Responsibilities:

Successful candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the graduate and professional level. They will design and deliver online courses in areas such as leadership management organizational behavior project and program management business analytics for decision making digital transformation and innovation with emphasis on application in technology-intensive organizations. Faculty will primarily deliver instructions in fully online formats.


Faculty are expected to contribute to the development of micro-credentials certificates and corporate learning programs; design experiential and case-based learning experiences; advise and mentor professional learners; and contribute to the intellectually vibrant interdisciplinary collaborative diverse innovative and entrepreneurial culture at Stevens and within CPE.

Required Education and Experience:

Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. or other terminal degree in a management-related field such as management leadership organizational behavior strategy business analytics or a closely related discipline. Exceptional candidates with a masters degree and extensive relevant industry or executive experience will also be considered. The College especially seeks candidates with a strong applied background in leadership development analytics for business impact digital transformation or organizational change and a demonstrated record of or potential for excellence in teaching graduate and professional learners including executive and corporate audiences.

Compensation Range

In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act the annual base range for this position is . This range represents the Universitys good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the positions scope and responsibilities the candidates experience education skills internal equity market data and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget qualifications and relevant credentials. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation such as incentives stipends or other applicable pay components.
