Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team
Staff management
Manage and supervise assurance engagements
Plan and coordinate work for audit clerks
Responsible for employee assessments (SAICA Assessment Process)
Counselling coaching and training clerks
Perform disciplinary procedures
Review work performed by audit clerks
Weekly employee briefing
Plan for upcoming jobs and continuously adapt plans to consider changes
Report to directors and monitor progress on their jobs - act as a liaison between directors and clerks
Meet with clients regarding audit/accounting issues
Manage client queries
Communicate the firms decisions to the audit department and feedback on audit department issues to directors
Perform specialist roles business plans cashflows tenders fraud investigations
Compliance with the firms System of Quality Management (SOQM) policies and procedures.
Compliance with the firms Employee Code of Conduct which consists of the firms HR policies SAICA IRBA and IESBA Codes of Conduct.
Requirements
CA (SA)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Staff management experience
Proficiency in MS Office
Pastel Caseware and Greatsoft experience
Required Skills:
