Job Summary
PURPOSE
Kurtosys is looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales and Implementation Consultant to join their teamsomeone who loves the buzz of pre-sales and the satisfaction of hands-on delivery. Kurtosys builds data and content publication platforms for assets and wealth managers enabling the creation and distribution of essential sales marketing and client reporting materials. Founded in 2002 they operate across four global offices and are ISO-27001 certified in information security management.
This role is built for end-to-end ownership: engage prospects demonstrate value through demos/PoCs then take the project through to completionmaintaining momentum continuity and client trust from sale to implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Sales
- Engage prospects to understand business needs and technical requirements
- Deliver product demos and technical presentations (including enterprise clients)
- Build rapport through strong relationship management and business acumen
- Create and deliver proof-of-concept / proof-of-value demonstrations
- Collaborate with Sales to close deals and ensure a smooth transition into implementation
Project delivery & implementation
- Take full ownership of projects from sale through to completion
- Self-manage deliverables timelines and client expectations
- Implement Kurtosys products directlymastering tools and delivering independently
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for clients and internal teams
- Troubleshoot issues and unblock problems proactively
Client relationship management
- Maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders from technical teams to executive leadership
- Manage expectations and ensure satisfaction with deliverables
- Act as a trusted advisor on technical and business matters
Requirements
KNOWLEGE AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Strong SQL (complex queries data analysis)
- API testing/integration experience (e.g. Postman)
- Comfortable with browser developer tools (Network tab debugging)
- Comfortable with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Cursor GitHub Copilot)
- Ability to learn new platforms quickly and produce clear technical documentation
- Understanding of financial services and investment management; able to engage investment professionals confidently
- Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and the ability to work independently
- Confident leading client calls and managing stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience with financial services/investment management technology platforms
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
- Understanding of data integration and ETL concepts
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance contexts within financial services
