Job Summary
The Role
Youll support the finance function across multiple entities with responsibility spanning core accounting month-end processes reporting support and close interaction with operations.
This role suits an ambitious Accountant who wants exposure mentorship and a clear development path.
What Youll Be Doing
Capturing and reconciling daily financial transactions across group entities
Preparing journals and supporting month-end close
Maintaining clean accurate general ledger reconciliations
Prepare monthly management accounts and do variance analysis
VAT PAYE and statutory submissions
Processing supplier invoices payments and customer receipts
Preparing audit schedules and working with external auditors
Maintaining orderly audit-ready financial records
Providing financial and operational support directly to the FM & CFO
Mentor and develop debtors and creditors clerks
Getting involved in ad hoc projects linked to business growth and efficiency
Requirements
What Were Looking For
Completed SAIPA or CIMA articles (SAICA considered)
BCom Degree in Accounting Finance or similar
13 years experience in an accounting audit or finance environment
Comfortable building relationships in a traditional values-driven business setting
Mature accountable and comfortable operating without micromanagement
Keen to be on site visible and involved in a manufacturing business
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems
High attention to detail and a structured way of working
