Job Summary
- Act as the security representative within multiple project streams for new and ongoing initiatives.
- Translate security policies and standards into effective risk controls for new and existing applications.
- Conduct security architecture and design reviews to ensure secure-by-design solutions.
- Support project and development teams by providing hands-on security guidance and expertise.
- Assist in the implementation of security design principles across applications and platforms.
- Guide development and project teams in the remediation of identified security vulnerabilities and gaps.
- Plan coordinate and oversee application penetration testing including execution and remediation follow-up.
- Recommend and support the implementation of security controls throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 810 years of overall experience in application security cloud security and secure architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in secure architecture and secure design principles.
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and techniques.
- Proven knowledge of threat modeling methodologies.
- Practical experience with secure coding practices across common programming languages and platforms.
- Solid understanding and application of security frameworks and standards such as OWASP NIST CSF CIS and similar.
- Experience working with cloud security particularly within Microsoft Azure and serverless cloud environments.
- Translate complex security requirements into practical actionable solutions for development and project teams.
- Identify security risks early and provide clear remediation strategies.
- Balance security requirements with business and delivery timelines.
- Ensure security controls are embedded consistently across the SDLC.
- Engagement in challenging and impactful security initiatives across modern digital and cloud platforms.
- Opportunities to influence security architecture and application security strategy at scale.
