CT Technologist
Location: New York NY
Duration: 8 Weeks
Pay: $55$65/hour
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic CT procedures in accordance with established protocols. The technologist will ensure patient safety maintain equipment performance and comply with regulatory and radiation safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce accurate diagnostic images.
Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations on CT equipment.
Administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation including logs manuals and charge records.
Report and address equipment issues to ensure compliance with regulations.
Conduct quality control quality assurance and safety testing.
Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
Manage patient imaging records and electronic data for radiologist review.
Prepare patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses and verify deliveries.
Assess and respond to patient needs before during and after imaging procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
Ability to perform CT procedures accurately and consistently.
Attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards.
Education & Certifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T) New York State Department of Health.
ARRT Certification in Radiography and current CT certification.
BLS Certification.
Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience.
