Location: Craig CO
Provides diagnostic imaging services to patients using various imaging modalities ensuring accurate image acquisition patient safety and optimal patient care. Prioritizes patient education explaining procedures equipment and exams clearly to ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
Responsibilities:
Performs MRI procedures at a tech level in accordance with protocols.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures including but not limited to X-ray and Fluoroscopy with C-arm and OR work.
Practices radiation safety adhering to ALARA standards.
Ability to operate equipment consistent with the manufacturers recommendations.
Troubleshoots equipment problems and independently calls a service engineer if the malfunction needs outside maintenance.
Maintains accurate patient records in EHR including charging for procedures and supplies.
May be required to perform other functions within the clinic. Any additional training required will be provided.
Demonstrates flexibility by assisting in other modalities adjusting schedules and taking call overtime or holiday shifts as needed.
Obtains additional training or certification as required.
Assists with clerical duties phone reception and patient transportation when required.
Assists trains or cross-trains imaging staff members as directed.
Must be self-motivated use independent judgment and be able to work with minimum supervision.
Orders stocks and maintains supply inventory.

Required:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
ARRT registration in Radiology (R) including Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire or transfer)
