Assist with the Districts Energy and Sustainability goals
Assures the safe conditions of the swimming pool equipment
Coordinates control system conversions and/or modifications to include new hardware and software installations for the district and the department
Creates modifies and evaluates programming for the Direct Digital Control Systems in all locations districtwide
Ensures that all safety rules and regulations are followed to the prescribed measures
Maintains clean and efficient operating work area
Maintains equipment and arranges for service and repairs as necessary
Maintains records and reports on inventory equipment and the status of current projects
May act as liaison with District IT department for Facilities department
Performs duties associated with building repairs and remodeling
Performs pneumatic system repairs hydraulic repairs mechanical repairs and fuel system repairs
Plans and performs minor maintenance repairs to the facilities and systems and reports major discrepancies
Prepares and enters records of work performed and parts used on all district equipment repaired
Prepares work orders and reports/solves maintenance problems before they become emergencies
Provides assistance in resolving technical problems
Reads and interprets service and parts manuals
Regulates heat ventilation and air conditioning systems to provide the appropriate temperature for the season and to ensure economical usage of fuel water and electricity
Responds to all service breakdowns and work orders as required
Services and maintains commercial kitchen equipment
Supervises and oversees the completion of minor/routine projects
