Terros Health is hiring an ACT Independent Living Specialist for our Priest clinic in Phoenix AZ.

Primary hours at the site Mon-Fri 7:30AM-6PM

Must have very flexible schedule as this team provides treatment 7 days/week including weekends and holidays

Pay range $18.38 - $25.00 (DOE)

$3/hour ACT Differential in addition to base pay

Full-Time Employed

Location: 1642 S Priest Drive #101 Tempe AZ and out in the community (approximately 20% in an office setting 80% in the field)

Bachelors Degree in BehavioralHealth preferred

Bilingual Differential Available

Must have very flexible schedule as this team provides treatment 7 days/week including weekends and holidays

On-call and mileage reimbursement

The ACT Independent Living Skills Specialist provides direct treatment rehabilitative and supportive services that support independent living in a community setting to members. Works in conjunction with the client and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team staff to assess client needs in development of their independent living skills and activities of daily living to support independent living Participates in the development of individual service plans and acts as a client advocate and liaisons with families and community agencies. Provides on-call crisis intervention services as well as weekend and holiday coverage. This position reports to the ACT Clinical Coordinator.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in behavioral health or related field preferred. Minimum of one (1) year behavioral health experience is required. Education and/or experience may run concurrently.
  • Three (3) years working as an independent living specialist preferred.
  • Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certificate preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills which allow for professional and positive relationships with co-workers members families and other community members
  • Good communication skills evidenced by a non-judgmental approach effective listening and positive interactions
  • Basic understanding of the DSM-V
  • Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook electronic medical record NextGen preferred
  • Must have valid Arizona drivers license be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Healths driving policy
  • Must have a valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearancecard or be able to apply for one within 7 working days of starting employment
  • Must pass a TB test background check and other pre-employment screenings.
