Job Summary
The Birches Academy is seeking a dedicated highly motivated and resourceful Special Education Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between The Birches sending districts and the families we serve ensuring every student receives the tailored support they need to the Coordinator you will act as the primary liaison between The Birches Academy and various sending districts. You will facilitate the collaboration necessary to address the diverse educational needs of our students ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery across all ResponsibilitiesCollaborative Liaison: Partner with sending district special education staff service providers parents and teachers to coordinate student Management: Participate in meetings to ensure educational plans are aligned with student : Act as the central point of contact for all out-of-district matters maintaining transparent and proactive communication with families and & Organization: Ensure all documentation and reporting meet state and federal special education regulations with meticulous attention to Solving: Navigate complex educational landscapes to resolve challenges and advocate for the best interests of the : BachelorsExperience: Proven track record in special education coordination or a similar administrative : Valid state certification in Special Education preferred
