As Hospital & Commercial Lead (d/f/m) BioS & Speciality you will have the responsibility of leading the entire hospital segment including tenders and improving the tender process. Your role is critical in driving sales within the hospital sector and expanding our market share in commercially driven segments. You will also focus on special business upsides and value-creating opportunities by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This position includes the key account management of major clients hospitals and hospital pharmacies. Additionally you will be instrumental in the launches of hospital biosimilars in close collaboration with the Regional Franchise Teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the hospital environment market trends and competition
  • Implement strategic actions and go-to-market models for commercially driven products in the Specialty & BioS sector
  • Track and share portfolio performance with x-functional teams
  • Launch of new Hospital & BioS launches and contribute other product launches and strategies adapt selling models forecasts and product positioning to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Lead tender submissions and analyze tender implementation and spillover effects.
  • Evaluate historical tender results to determine optimal bids and analyze specific tender requirements and competition to realize margin potentials.
  • Work closely cross-functional with departments such as Finance Legal & Market Access and act as the Account Lead in cross-functional collaboration within the company.
  • Develop review and optimize account plans to utilize internal and external resources effectively to enhance sales performance.
  • Analyze existing customer contracts and identify develop and implement targeted offers.

What youll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in business administration or natural sciences with experience in Marketing Sales or Controlling.
  • Medical and pharmaceutical knowledge certified to work as a pharmaceutical representative (Pharmareferentenprüfung).
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a strong affinity for numbers.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales or Account Management with a solid knowledge of the Austrian pharmaceutical market and hospital landscape.
  • Strong negotiation presentation and selling skills.
  • Professional and personal competence to independently lead projects and the ability to drive and implement topics proactively.
  • A team player with a pronounced entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluent in German and English.

In accordance with Austrian law we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is EUR 78.3839/year (on a full-time basis).

In most cases however the actual salary will be higher as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience qualifications and individual competencies.
