Starting Compensation:

19.24 - 23.08 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Sacramento: Crisis Residential Program (In-Person Position)

Working Hours/Shift:

FT Tuesday Wednesday Friday Saturday; NOC Shift (11pm-7:30am )

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

Licensing: Valid California Drivers License and current automobile insurance and must maintain a driving record that meets the company drivers eligibility policy.
Certification: Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) certification required (can be obtained after hire)..

Recovery Counselor I

Education/Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) plus one year of full-time experience in consumer-directed services within a mental health healthcare or social services setting.

Recovery Counselor II

Requires one of the following education and experience combinations:

Associate degree: Plus six years of experience in the mental health field.
Bachelors Degree (Mental Health Field): Plus four years of experience in the mental health field.
Masters Degree (Mental Health Field): Plus two years of experience in the mental health field.

Division/Program Overview:

24/7 voluntary residential setting specifically for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) at risk and need a higher level of care but lower than a psychiatric hospital
Facility equipped to serve up to 15 Youth
Provides mental health services that include individual therapy group rehabilitation medication management and case management
Incorporates the tenets of recovery peer support and identifying community connections
Connects individuals to educational and vocational services and initiating the process of locating housing

In accordance with California law the grade for this position is 19.24 - 26.93. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience internal equity and other factors permitted by law.
