Sacramento: Crisis Residential Program (In-Person Position)
Working Hours/Shift:
FT Tuesday Wednesday Friday Saturday; NOC Shift (11pm-7:30am )

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
Licensing: Valid California Drivers License and current automobile insurance and must maintain a driving record that meets the company drivers eligibility policy.
Certification: Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) certification required (can be obtained after hire)..

Recovery Counselor II
Requires one of the following education and experience combinations:
Associate degree: Plus six years of experience in the mental health field.
Bachelors Degree (Mental Health Field): Plus four years of experience in the mental health field.
Masters Degree (Mental Health Field): Plus two years of experience in the mental health field.
Division/Program Overview:
- 24/7 voluntary residential setting specifically for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) at risk and need a higher level of care but lower than a psychiatric hospital
- Facility equipped to serve up to 15 Youth
- Provides mental health services that include individual therapy group rehabilitation medication management and case management
- Incorporates the tenets of recovery peer support and identifying community connections
- Connects individuals to educational and vocational services and initiating the process of locating housing
