Schedule/Hours: School Days 7:00-9:00AM & 3:00-6:00PM; other hours as needed

POSITION SUMMARY
TheParking Services Workeris responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of vehicle traffic on campus maintaining parking compliance and providing a secure environment for students staff and visitors. This position requires demonstrating the competencies and behaviors needed to provide premier customer satisfaction maintain punctual attendance and support the core values vision and mission of Rochambeau.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Direct vehicle traffic and patrol assigned areasto ensure compliance with school parking procedures and maintain a safe environment
Maintain communication with dispatchand school staff using two-way radios or mobile phones
Promptly report information regarding incidents safety concerns or emergencies to the appropriate personnel
Identify vehicles in violation of parking codesand monitor the campus for suspicious objects or unauthorized vehicles
Develop and maintain positive public relationsby interacting with staff parents and visitors with courtesy and tact
Workwell with others and function as a strong team player
Performother related/additional duties and tasks as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of standard parking policies and procedures
Ability to quickly learn campus geography (streets lots and structures)
Ability to react calmly and effectively under pressure or in stressful situations
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle situations with diplomacy and tact
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact and communicate respectfully and effectively with students and staff members in a cooperative manner
Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of information
Regular predictable and reliable attendance at work
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and have reliable transportation to and from work
Demonstrate a commitment to Rochambeaus vision mission values and strategic aims

Bilingual fluency in French and English desired
Experience in a private international or school setting is preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position primarily operates in school outdoor and in-transit environments.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs work in all weather conditions including rain snow heat cold etc and maintain physical mobility including extended sitting walking standing twisting and stair climbing.
