Description

Provides meal services at Bay Aging properties in Colonial Beach and assists with Meals on Wheels. Pay rate: $12.77/hr.

Essential Functions

Assist with Active Lifestyle Center operations

Assist in preparing meals and snacks set table serve clients dishwashing and clean up after meals.
Assist in the preparation of nutritious meals and snacks manage table settings meal service and clean up after meals
Maintain supplies in neat organized manner.
Help with light cleaning

Work well with MOW volunteers

Help coordinate and assist Meals on Wheels.
Provide general program information and customer service to clients through various forms of communication (in-person email telephone etc.)
Organize and file physical and virtual documents
Good coping skills working with the elderly
All other duties as assigned.

DECISION MAKING

Perform task as assigned and work under close supervision throughout the day.

Qualifications

Must be 55 years of age and older
High School diploma or GED.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Works in variety of properties activities. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 15lbs walking and climbing stairs.

KNOWLEDGE

Must have willingness to learn and practice Active Lifestyle Center and Bay Aging policies and procedures and regulations.

Attend training sessions as needed.

FLSA: This is a non-exempt position.
