What Intern contributes to Cardinal Health
Internship programs are in learning and support roles for temporary periods of time. Intern responds to the specific business and functional needs of respective work group(s) and executing work according to guidance. Employees in this job family are focused on learning gaining experience and acquiring skills.
Qualifications
- High School diploma GED or equivalent or equivalent work experience preferred
What is expected of you and others at this level
- Applies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasks
- Mainly support fundamental product research product development business sustaining project and alternate material source on various types of medical gloves from concept through commercialization by working closely with Scientists and Engineers.
- Keeps equipment operating by following standard operating instructions/ work procedures.
- Support day to day compounding chemical mixing forming chlorination and all relevant testing activities in wet lab environment.
- Evaluate material performance for exam/surgical glove samples via various analytical tools.
- Providing reliable and precise data to support scientific or engineering investigations.
- Observe lab safety and maintain lab cleanliness via 5S methodology.
- Shall take additional responsibility as guided by the immediate superior.
