What does a successful Risk Application Support Advisor Card Services do at Fiserv

A successful Risk Application Support Advisor at Fiserv keeps our card risk platforms running smoothly and continuously improves how we detect respond to and prevent risk-related incidents. We partner with operations engineering and client teams to protect transaction integrity and meet service commitments.

What you will do:

• Provide production support and incident resolution for risk applications across UNIX/Linux clusters and Java-based platforms (including application web services coherence cache management and batch job monitoring) including 24x7 oncall rotations and escalations.
• Deploy validate and rollback application releases working with Development QA and Release/Change Management; create runbooks perform postmortems/RCA after fallbacks and ensure configuration management and CI best practices.
• Build and maintain automation and monitoring (scripts alerts Splunk/Dynatrace/ExtraHop integrations) to detect issues early reduce mean time to resolution and notify technical/product teams.
• Drive infrastructure and application reliability activities: capacity planning performance tuning scaling provisioning and execution of the Risk Disaster Recovery Plan.
• Maintain technical support documentation participate in global project teams and evolve deployment/testing strategies and automation (including RPA/automation tool integrations) to improve deployment speed and stability.

What you will need to have:

• 3 years handson UNIX/Linux and Java application production support experience including shell scripting and Oracle (SQL) operations.
• 2 years working with middleware app servers and schedulers (Apache WebSphere/WebLogic/JBoss; ControlM/AutoSys) plus experience with CI/CD and configuration management.
• Familiarity with NoSQL/Coherence (Couchbase/Cassandra/MongoDB/Coherence) monitoring tools (Splunk Dynatrace ExtraHop) automation tools (UIPath/Automation Anywhere/Blue Prism) Agile/DevOps practices and ITIL production support principles.
• 4 years technical experience and a bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or equivalent.

What would be nice to have:

• 1 deployments or operational experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
• 1 projects delivered using RPA/automation tools (UIPath Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism).
• Practical exposure to risk platforms (Falcon Feedzai Rule Manager Case Management Risk Gateway) or prior financial services/banking production support experience.

Salary Range

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
