How youll contribute

ACentral Sterile Technicianwho excels in this role:

• Provide inspection decontamination assembly and sterilization of instruments and other patient care equipment in accordance with processing guidelines AAMI AORN TJC and OSHA requirements.

• Operate departmental equipment daily according to manufacturer instructions with emphasis on safety.

• Provide customer service to all departments with a focus on the patient need.

• Process and documents all sterile supplies and equipment daily using chemical biological and mechanical indicators to verify sterility in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital policy

• Monitor and performs antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing according to manufacturer instructions and documentation daily.

What were looking for

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

• License: Central Sterile Technician (CSR) certification within 6 months of hire

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

• Required Skills: Central Sterile Technician (CSR) certification within 6 months of hire Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
