About the Role
A global capital markets technology organization islooking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join its GlobalMarkets IT Corporate Actions Stream.
This role is embedded in a globally distributedengineering environment where you will design build and optimize scalablesecure and high-performance applications that support critical corporateactions processes within Global Markets.
You will work closely with architecture teams productowners production support and engineers worldwide contributing not onlythrough hands-on development but also by shaping technical directionmentoring peers and promoting engineering excellence.
Your Mission
- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications aligned with technology roadmaps and best practices
- Participate in requirements analysis solution design and system architecture discussions
- Build and enhance modern front-end interfaces and robust back-end services
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration testing and deployment
- Influence and improve software design decisions driving functional and technical excellence
- Lead integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Promote secure coding strong SDLC governance and architectural consistency
- Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines automation and low-touch deployments
- Champion code quality through mentoring code reviews and development standards
- Drive innovation by adopting new frameworks tools and methodologies
- Ensure effective collaboration with Production Support (APS) teams
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 10 years of experience in full-stack software development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript Java and Python
- Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks (React Angular or Vue)
- Strong knowledge of back-end technologies ( Django Spring Boot)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira Bitbucket Jenkins)
- Strong knowledge of secure coding principles design patterns and system architecture
- Proven experience working with distributed global teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong DevOps mindset including CI/CD automation and monitoring
- Experience defining and implementing non-functional requirements (security scalability resilience high availability)
