Senior Manager, Logistics Analytics

As the Senior Manager Logistics Analytics you will lead a team responsible for providing in-depth logistics insights from geographical operations and fleet performance to delivery efficiency and cost optimization. You will work closely with the Logistics Service Operations teams as well as other analytics  teams to ensure that data-driven decision-making supports our scaling needs and improves customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Managing guiding and growing a team of 3-6 analysts to develop actionable insights and data solutions that optimize logistics operations reducing costs and improving delivery times.
• Lead the team in building maintaining data self-serve solutions and defining metrics for platform productivity delivery speed and logistics costs to support day-to-day and strategic logistics decisions.
• Collaborating with logistics and service operations  teams to improve processes such as route optimization fleet utilization and last-mile delivery efficiency.
• Conducting hands-on data analysis using SQL and analytics tools to support deep dives into logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with analytics engineering to implement data models that accelerate time to insights enhance data self-serve facilitate demand forecasting inventory planning and operational capacity management.
• Providing regular reports on logistics KPIs to senior management with insights into key trends issues and areas for operational efficiency gains.
• Strategic partnership with domain logistics directors to shape the analytics roadmap and own the outcomes in a fast paced environment
• Providing analytical thought leadership on key strategic topics enabling better decision making though impact quantification and pushing a data driven culture forward.
• Managing complex analytical projects end to end communicating updates/outcomes to senior leadership.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Data Science or related field.
• Around 10 years of experience as a Data Analyst with proven record of leading teams and growing other analytics professionals
• Around 3 years of experience or more in logistics supply chain or operations analytics with a proven track record of delivering insights to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau Looker).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in forecasting and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear recommendations for logistics stakeholders.
• Familiarity with operations research fleet management inventory planning A/B experimentation demand/supply forecasting and warehouse operations is a plus.
