Manager-IT Enterprise Architecture (Application Portfolio) (RefO)

Requirements

• University degree in Information technology Computer Science or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in IT preferably with handson exposure to application portfolio management or related functional areas
• Proven experience in managing complex application lifecycles within a mid- to large-scale organisation
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and end-to-end application lifecycle management
• Solid knowledge of technology platforms preferably both on-premises infrastructures and public cloud environments
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
• Strong communication interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Corporations application landscape and formulate a comprehensive application lifecycle management strategy
• Identify optimisation opportunities to rationalise modernise consolidate or retire existing applications to enhance efficiency
• Define and maintain application groupings and map application capabilities to support effective portfolio analysis and planning
• Review and assess proposed application solutions from the Solution Team to ensure alignment with business needs and delivery of optimal value. Participate in the Solution Review Board to evaluate and approve solution proposals
• Maintain an accurate and uptodate application inventory through periodic reviews and updates of the application library
• Provide application architecture insights and recommendations to support application development team in delivering robust solutions
• Identify emerging technologies trends and platforms suitable for adoption to support the Corporations digital transformation
